Founded in 1995, Epimedia, Inc. got its start with the goal of leveraging the then-nascent internet to help businesses in State College, PA expand their services and reach broader markets. Since that time, our services have expanded to include contract hardware and software development, product development, and patent support services.

Rod received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Duke University in 1992, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 1995 and 1998, respectively. His specialties include image processing, software development for mobile and embedded devices, and project management. Rod has over 20 years of software development experience and 12 years of LabVIEW application development experience.

Epimedia is proud to have Dean Cyphery, a National Instruments (NI) Certified LabVIEW Architect and Certified Professional Instructor, on our engineering team. Dean has been developing and deploying medium to large scale turnkey test equipment for over a decade utilizing LabVIEW. Attaining the Architect designation requires passing a series of exams administered by NI and through this, demonstrates the mastery of all technical aspects of the LabVIEW development platform while proving ability to implement efficient project solutions in a team environment. The Certified LabVIEW Architect designation is the highest level of certification available from National Instruments, and signifies the ability to lead complex projects from conception through completion.
